This term taken from the French word “bois” (wood) refers to those wooden wall panels created using craftsmanship of the past and immediately brings to mind the most beautiful and ornate residences in Europe : The palaces of Versailles, Saint Petersburg, Vienna, Venice, Florence, Rome.
“Boiserie” has always been synonym of elegance, luxury, power, but also of austere intimacy. One immediately envisages those wonderful English libraries and studies of Victorian times. Our “boiserie” products are manufactured using the highest quality materials in an endeavour to recreate those emotions referred to above, inconspicuous and refined, or luxurious and opulent, sometimes even verging on gaudy to manifest wealth and power. We also provide false ceilings – panelled or lacunar – everything completely in tone with doors and furniture.
